Best Reads of 2012, from down under

I love thinking about An Unexpected Guest circling the globe. One clutch of outside-North-America readership has come from the Australian edition of the novel, published by 4th Estate/HarperCollins.

All Things Literary blog, from down under, just named An Unexpected Guest a Best Fiction Read of 2012. Also on the list, noted as Best Classic Text read in 2012, is the Age of Innocence… which Edith Wharton wrote in her Parisian apartment on the Rue de Varenne, a few houses down from the fictional residence of the Moorhouses in An Unexpected Guest.
